I am getting the above error message in Studio 2011 sp2 for a couple of PDF files in a project with several other PDFs that do not have this error. I have tried the solution here: http://kb.sdl.com/?portalid=23&articleid=4656#tab:homeTab:crumb:7:artId:4656 and have additionally tried the same setting for PDF file types (which seems more logical but probably isn't). There seem to be a couple of other workarounds in this forum but I was wondering if I can fix it without having to delete a whole bunch of settings?

Thanks,

Olly

If you have tried... Aug 21, 2013

... the solution mentioned and they didn't work, then another potential route is this.

1. Create your Project with the PDF Files
2. This also creates DOCX files in the source language folder
3. Copy the DOCX files and create a new Project with them.

This "might" resolve your issue... at least it have worked for me in the past when I have across a problem like this.

Regards

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't work, maybe because, being lazy, I tried re-importing the docx files into the original (broken) project. So I created a new project and imported the pdfs again and find that these all seem to be OK now. Touch wood.

Thanks,

Olly
