Hello,

I have a project of about 8000 words (2 files). The client has sent me some other files to use as a reference, the originals in Sp and Eng. I want to incorporate these into my TM when I start to translate the files I am going to work on. I was going to align the reference files and export them as TXT and then open my 2 files and these other reference files (now aligned and exported as TXT)as a project ad create a TM for it. Is that right?

Thanks

I hope this may help you Aug 27, 2013

Hi Lucy!, just in case you are using Trados (the one I use) here is a brief hot to. Once you have aligned the two files (make sure and check the alignmet is correct) you need to export it to a TMX file format and then import this file to your TM.

Hope this is useful.

That was helpful, I've worked out how to do it now, as you said.
