I have been given a source text and a target text in Word format.

The client has made changes to the source text (added a few words) and I need to implement these to the already translated target text.

How do I open these in Studio 2011?
How do I compare these two and find what changes/additions have been made to the source text?

Thanks.

Compare in Microsoft word Sep 6, 2013

Hi,

If you own two different version of source file then kindly do compare from Microsoft Word 2010 itself.

From Microsoft Word you can easily compare two different versions of file and find the changes.

Open Word> Click Review tab>look for Compare option>load two different versions of file

Regards,
Pradeep.

Use previous TM Sep 6, 2013

If you translated the previous file yourself, then simply translate the new Word file in Studio using the same TM. The changes will be marked as fuzzy matches or new segments.
