In these days, I tried out Winalign to build a TM from txts of 150000 records but there is no way,
I got only "out of memory" and "not enough space for thread data" errors. There is also an article in the SDL KB stating this with few words.

Indeed, I surprised that Studio launch a software part of Trados 2007. Checking its compatibility under Windows 7 it results with some issues without solution. Could you confirm me this is the normal behavior of Studio and not due to my installation?

I also could appreciate suggestions about any software useful to complete the creation of TMs from source files of big size, I tried some like LF_aligner, suggested here and there, but without result.

Thanks

WinAlign crashes with files too large. that is a known issue I've experienced.
I can only suggest you split your .txt files.
good luck!
(WinAlign is totally compatible with Windows 7).
