I have been watching the videos on youtube about how to return a license to SDL. I just wonder what do they mean by "offline deactivation", when you still have to go to "your account" at the SDL site? How is this "offline"?

Hi Heinrich,

It's offline due to the fact, that you can copy the certificate info to another machine or mobile device that might have internet access and then deactivate there.

The machine being activated dos not need internet access.

Cheers,
Luis
