Hello,

I am trying to batch edit files in Studio 2014. I found out that the 2009 version had an app for this:

http://www.translationzone.com/openexchange/app/sdlbatchfindreplace-35.html

However, it isn't available to me (the button is grayed out, despite the fact that I am logged in), probably because of the version difference.

Does anybody know how I can batch-edit files in Studio (not Translation Memories, this is for files I am working on)? I would really need something like Transistor was to SDLX files...

Thanks,
Angela

Batch Find and Replace is... Oct 21, 2013

... still available to you and you'll probably find it's installed with the product. If you look at the openexchange navigation menu on the Welcome page you'll see it there. But there are also other alternatives also available on the openexchange such as the SDLXLIFF Toolkit : http://wp.me/p2xDjK-tu

Regards

QuickMerge Oct 21, 2013

The OX apps are very nice and useful, but depending on your project structure you might not need them.
If all the files are in one folder or if you can put them together in one folder, you can use the QuickMerge option of Studio 2014 (just select them all and open for translation/Review).

Thank you Paul and Shai Nave for your replies, I will look into both. I didn't know about QuickMerge, that sounds very interesting.

All the best,
Angela
