I'm using Trados 2007 Workbench on translating a *.properties files where the source is

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#Generated by ResourceBundle Editor (http://eclipse-rbe.sourceforge.net)

Button.Cancel      = Cancel
Button.Close      = Close
Button.Confirm      = Close

Form.Birthday      = Birthday
Form.BirthdayDay      = Day
Form.BirthdayDayTitle      = Enter Day
Form.BirthdayMonth      = Month
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

where texts after equal(=) signs are translation target

When I translate this source file on Workbench I get

<resource name="Button.Cancel">....TU here with match percentage etc.....</resource>

The problem is when I clean up this file all of the whitespace and returns are gone! except for the whitespaces in TUs
So I would get something like

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#Generated by ResourceBundle Editor (http://eclipse-rbe.sourceforge.net)
Button.Cancel= Translation1
Button.Close=Translation1
Button.Confirm=Translation2
Form.Birthday=Translation3
Form.BirthdayDay=Translation4
Form.BirthdayDayTitle=Translation5
Form.BirthdayMonth=Translation6
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

is ther any way to preserve this white spaces in Trados 2007? any options which could handle this?
