Hi,

I tried to find the answer in the forum, but still need help, please.
Am not very strong with Trados. I had the Studio 2011 version and now the Studio 2014 version.

My client sent me a .dat file and asked for delivery of clean/unclean files.

Is that possible or do I need to have Trados 2007 (which I don't have) for this job?

If it's possible, how do I open the .dat file in Traods? And what does the client mean with clean/unclean fil... See more

Dear Carmen

The unclean file is the bilingual file produced when you select it from the menu File/Export for external review and the clean file is the word file produced when you select it from File /Save target as

But still: I cannot open the .dat file.

How do I go about that?
