We've now just noticed that for the IDML filter type in Studio 2011, under the 'Tag Check' option, 'Ignore formatting tags' is checked by default. However, we've been using tag verification for a while, and tag errors do get picked up.
I've just now done a quick test, and it doesn't seem to matter whether the option 'Ignore formatting tags' is checked or not, errors in formatting tags always get picked up?
Is there something we're missing in the definition of a formatting tag, or is this option not working as intended? (mind you, I'm glad the errors get picked up by tag verification, just wondering what the option does)
Kind regards, Geert
