A known issue Nov 7, 2013

You probably updated Java to update 45 or it was updated automatically:
MultiTerm 2014 stopped working after updating to Java 7 update 45

If at the end the problem still persists, try lowering the security setting to Medium.

Multiterm with Studio 2014 crashes after trying to add term Nov 8, 2013

I don't have any Java install/uninstall history. I just did a clean install of Studio and Multiterm after my computer crashed a few days ago and was reformatted. I don't have, and never had on this computer, any versions of Java other than Java 7.25 installed with Trados. I can open and consult MT in Studio, but the moment I try to add a term, I get a Java script error message and MT crashes.
The same happens when trying to use MT in standalone mode.
IOW, there is nothing for me to fix, because the "fix" seems to be the problem.

Security settings Nov 8, 2013

In the Java Control Panel (accessible from Windows' Control Panel) check what is the security setting (under the security tab). Try to lower it incrementally to Medium to see if the problem is solved.
