Hi,
I am having a problem with Croatian quotation marks. Quick insert offers only German (which is somewhat similar to Croatian) and French versions. A client supplied me with codes: (":frq and :flq" inside < and>). Can anyone tell me how to create tags with these codes?
Thanks.

Hi,

Looks to me that :frq = » and :flq = « why don't you just reverse the French quotes in a new QuickInsert entry.

Cheers,

Bernard

Thanks, but that doesn't work Nov 21, 2013

As French quotes tags are flq:hs and :hs:frq. I need it without hs, exactly as the code is...

File type Nov 21, 2013

Hi Davor,

What are the filetypes you are translating and what exactly do you need to insert? Also do they need to be inserted as tags, or as text as you wrote:

<:frq> and <:flq>

Regards

Paul

Hi Paul Nov 21, 2013

I have SDL Studio project package, and I need to insert these in a form of tags.

Filetypes Nov 21, 2013

Hi Davor,

I was interested in the filetypes you are translating. Some you can insert them as tags, some you cannot. So are they docx, pptx, xml, html... etc?

Regards

Paul

There must be! Nov 21, 2013

SDLXLIFF is the Studio bilingual format. So unless you received a Studio package created using SDLXLIFF files as source (highly unusual I think) then they must have been something else first. When you look in the files view what does this tell you? There will be a little icon to the left of the file name you can probably recognise, or you can customise the view to show the filetype identifier by right-clicking on one of the column headers and add it to the list.

Regards

Paul
