hi folks,

studio has started to ask for original file when opening sdlxliff, which it didn't so far.
anybody else experienced the same? or is this related to some setting, which can fix this error when we change it (how)?

thanks for your input..

Is this a file you previously handled that didn’t ask? Or is it a new SDLXLIFF you have been sent that perhaps uses a different underlying source format? XML perhaps where the absence of the source file might prevent some operations... or a particularly large file that doesn't have the source embedded in the SDLXLIFF... this would also prevent the operation of some features unless you had the source.

both cases Dec 9, 2013

Dear Paul,

we have experienced both cases, namely the same file which we used to create a "translate from document" kind of project (open document, save, the project sdlproj file is created automatically) was asked for when we open the project.
And the sdlxliff files we receive from our freelancers started to ask for the original file, which they did not in the past (and still don't do with some freelancers).

A bug in the new update??
