Trados 2014 cannot view PPT as target

About a week ago we purchased Trados 2014, but quickly ran into problems (as usual). First of all, the termbases are extremely slow. Second, when trying to view a PTT as target, we get the following error:

Stupid, but helps with stupid errors in many cases.

I have restarted the computer, reinstalled Office, reinstalled .NET and prayed to all deities I know, but still get the same error. Ironically, opening the file in OpenOffice, saving it as OO file and working with that file in Trados doesn't give any problem, so it has to be Trados Studio not being able to communicate well with Office.
