Hello,

it is a possibility to translate a Publisher document with SDL Trados Studio?

Thanks

Geneviève

I think... Jan 20, 2014

... but I’m not 100% as I have never done this, that you can export Published files to html and then open the target html back in publisher again. I don't know how effective this is, or if all formatting is retained, but perhaps it’s worth a go if you can test it?

Regards

Paul

But I think, it is too risky.

Fluency 2013 Jan 21, 2014

Hi Geneviève,

Fluency 2013 handles Publisher files perfectly and it's WYSIWYG.

Cheers,

Bernard

for the info. But I declined this translation.

And I have already 4 CAT's. It's enough;).

Best,

Geneviève

html method works Jan 21, 2014

I use it for some years but tested it only with 20 or more files.

In 25 years I received only one (1) publisher file.

... use of resources to create a filetype then? I can’t quote the impressive timeline you can Selcuk, but I could probably count on one hand the number of times I have seen this filetype come up.

Maybe worth looking... Jan 12, 2016

... at this article. It's for Trados Studio but the format could be handled in any CAT that manages XML.
