I did not find this issue discussed in other forum topics, so I suppose I must have done something wrong.
When trying to dock the various windows (Translation Results, Concordance Search, Termbase Viewer, etc.), the top slot for some reason becomes truncated. The other slots work just fine.
Since the top slot is the most important one, I cannot ignore the problem, or work around it.
Repairing the installation did not work.
I hate the idea of deleting the 3 setting customization files, because I would have to reset all my global shortcuts and settings, so I haven't tried that option yet.

The whole idea that customizations are precarious and have to be frequently redone from scratch is extremely annoying. This is a serious flaw.
Never seems to happen in other software.

Thank you for your help,

It looks like didn't succeed in pasting the image properly, although I followed the FAQ instructions. What did I do wrong?

Have you tried "reset windows"? (View tab>Reset windows)
Maybe my blog post on display issues might help:

Your shortcuts and settings shouldn't get lost when you delete these files.
Just in case, export your user profile and browse to it when you open Studio again. (File Tab>setup>manage user profiles)

I think you may have copied the url from your browser address bar, instead of copying an address that ImageShack supplies for a specific image.

Thanks Emma! Jan 25, 2014

Reset Windows worked!

Exporting the user profile is an excellent idea.

Much appreciated!

Thanks a lot,
Sandra
