Trados conversion back into Excel messing up line breaks

I have an issue converting a xliff file back into Excel:
I use Trados Studio 2009, and I converted an Excel file where all cells contained text with line breaks.
When I convert the xliff file back into Excel, in most of the Excel cells, the line breaks have disappeared and the text is displayed in each cell as one line with no spaces where the line breaks should be. (even if I selected "word wrap" option)
Is there a way to display back those line breaks automatically?
Thanks for any suggestions.
