Hello,

A new agency is asking to proofread a document and then to send them 'a verification report (Excel format) indicating that there are no errors with tags and variables'.
I have no idea how to that.
I tried to find the Tag checking option, but it seems that SDL doesn't propose it for my file (eventhough it's an sdxliff).
As for the variables I have no idea how to check them.

Could anyone help me with this ?

Best regards,

Ingrid

You would... Feb 23, 2014

... open the SDLXLIFF in STudio with a Translation Memory and then run the Verify Files Batch Task. This will run the verification report based on whatever QA profile you have set up.

This will add a report to your Reports View called Verify Files. You select this and then click on Save As in the ribbon and select the Excel option.

Regards

Paul
