Hello,

I just received a new project and I have problems opening it in Studio 2014.
The agency send me an Excel 97-2003 worksheet file. The source language is in column D and target should come in colomn E.

I first saved the file as a CSV.
Then in Studio 2014 I went into options>file types>CSV> and entered :
-Source column = 4
-Target column = 5

I am able to open the file but Studio only "sees" a few segments (3 out of 3285)...Why is that?
I am certainly doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out!

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!

Why the conversion to CSV.... Feb 28, 2014

if you could translate it directly in Excel format by copying text in source column to target column and then hiding all the columns excepting the target one?

I guess that when you convert to csv, if there are empty cells in column D and/or E, the contiguous commas are being recognized as a single one and making a mess of the tabular structure of the file.

Saludos
