Hello, I'm relatively new to Trados and must say I'm overwhelmed with the problems I have had so far. It seems that when I import a TM with is a tmx file, I get the error stated above when I try to confirm a segment. It still gets confirmed after a second try, but slows me down as I get this error message at each segment. Furthermore, when I am finished my work, I can't close Trados unless I shut down my computer.

There could be more - I found this one with a very quick Google search, but try a search here, too. So many problems with CAT tools have been posted and good solutions provided on Proz in my experience, which is one several reasons I keep renewing my membership. Any issue I have ever had with Trados (luckily, very few so far) has been covered on Proz already. There's a lot of expertise to benefit from! ▲ Collapse

Many problems can arise as a result of not downloading the installer to your local machine before running it, so this may be the reason for the problems you are incurring. But if this doesn't help you please log a case through the solution finder so a Support Engineer can assist you.
Download & Installation Problems - I use SDL Trados Studio and/or SDL MultiTerm 2009, 2011 or 2014 -- The installation went fine but now I get an error message etc --- The problem occurs in (pick the appropriate tool/s) ---- None of the articles resolved my problem (if they didn’t!)
