Dear all,
I have just installed Multiterm 2014 (and Studio 2014). However, I haven't managed to try it out, because I have the following problem with it:
When I click Open Termbase to open a local termbase, a dialog box appears saying "Loading Termbase List". This dialog remains on the screen for quite a long time, and then the following error message is displayed: === A connection to SDL Multiterm Server unknown could not be establ... See more
Dear all,

When I click Open Termbase to open a local termbase, a dialog box appears saying "Loading Termbase List". This dialog remains on the screen for quite a long time, and then the following error message is displayed: === A connection to SDL Multiterm Server unknown could not be established ===
I use Windows 7 and previous versions of Trados (Multiterm/Studio 2009 and Trados 2007) are installed on my machine.

I believe MultTerm 2014 cannot access termbases on a MultiTerm 2009 server. MultiTerm may have stored a link to such a termbase. Go to C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Roaming\SDL and rename the folder SDL MulltiTerm to xSDL MultiTerm so that the folder will be recreated the next time you start MultiTerm.

Thank you very much for your advice! I have done what you suggested, but, unfortunately, it doesn't help.
Kind regards, Igor Timko.

Dear all,
As it turned out, the problem was related to WMI. Now that I have repaired WMI everything is working fine.
Kind regards, Igor Timko.
