I am having a problem with opening an Idiom xlz file after exporting it from Trados Studio 2014.
I've been using Trados Studio for translating Idiom files for quite a while now and there haven't been any problems so far. Lately I installed the new 2014 Studio version and now I received an Idiom project and wanted to use Trados Studio as usual. I wanted to check first if the translated file will export without any problems and it turned out there IS a problem. It seems that the file exports well but when I try opening it in Idiom I get an Import failed message saying: "Corrupt XLZ file".
If anyone encountered this problem and managed to solve it, I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

To my knowledge, this problem has not been fixed.

I've tried various settings offered in this forum, but to no avail.

What's funny, MemoQ and DVX3 have no problem with saving XLZ files. MemoQ even saves correct segment states making the XLZ ready for delivery.

However the SDL converter is buggy, it seems to change some line breaks or other minor things, but these are enough for Idiom to not recognize the file any longer.

I'm hoping they will fix this at least in the version 2015, because it's really annoying.
