I had this problem a while ago and I seem to be having it again this time.

A translator has sent me a bilingual file in XLF format (I guess it's from MemoQ) that I must proofread and clean in Studio 2014 but I seem to be unable to do it.

Any help?

Thank you in advance.

Proofread but not clean... May 5, 2014

You can open the memoQ XLF in Studio and proofread it (use the app as Bernard suggested for best results), and you can save the target and return it to your client. But you cannot "clean" it in the traditional sense of the word. Only memoQ can clean it as the original file could have been anything.

It's exactly the same with the XLIFF from Studio. You can proofread it in memoQ but you cannot "clean" it in memoQ. For that the file has to be returned to Studio.
