Hello,

I need to load a PO file into an existing project. I'm using Studio 2011. I added the PO file type definition which I downloaded from Translation Zone, uploaded the PO file, but it is still reference. When I tried to switch it into translatable, it says "no matching file type could be found. YOu have to add a suitable file type via Project Settings." At this point, I am clueless.

Any tips?

TIA

Noha

Restart Studio? May 9, 2014

Polish SDL support once suggested to me that if I make a major change in Studio I should shut Studio down and start it again.

Hope this helps.

This is not a problem... May 9, 2014

... I think you have just not added the new filetype to your available filetypes. Go to your filetype options and look on the right hand side of the window. There is probably a blue link that says "additional filetypes available" or something like that. Click on it and you'll see the filetypes you have installed but are not in the list of active filetypes yet. Just select the PO filetype and you'll be able to use it thereafter.

Regards

Paul
