Hi everyone,

I am working with Studio 2011 and I have the following problem:

I am translating a html file and when opening it Trados automatically adds a line:

Added a line into the HTML code: META HTTP-EQUIV="content-type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=windows-1252"”

The client however does need the final file back without it.

I tried to edit the source but did not manage to do so, also merging the segments is not possible.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Plaintext editor? May 28, 2014

If the final file is HTML, you simply remove the tag in any plaintext editor.

Thanks Joakim, that did work, however we are looking to stop Trados to add this line from the start...any idea how this can be achieved?
