Update problem - URGENT!

I received an update from SDL and installed it.

They asked what are my work languages.

I'm afraid I forgot to insert Italian, so now I cannot even open italian documents with STUDIO 2011.

What can I do? How can I contact SDL?

If you only need to reset your languages... Jun 27, 2014

... then try renaming your BaseSettings.xml as BaseSettings.xml_orig and then restart Studio. This will take you back through the choices and you can add the correct ones.

You can find this file here:

Studio 2014
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\11.0.0.0\BaseSettings.xml

Studio 2011
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\10.0.0.0\BaseSettings.xml

Studio 2009
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\9.1.0.0\BaseSettings.xml

If this works and everything is fine then you can delete BaseSettings.xml_orig.

If it doesn't work and you still have a problem then you log a case via the solution finder or use the new Customer Experience Desk. These are the best ways to contact SDL... not rely on a post in hereicon_wink.gif

Well first of all you should try the suggested solution I posted because this may allow you to solve this yourself immediately.

But if it fails I did write this:

BUt it simply doesn't work. I have access "for the first time" but I don't get the setting options.
