Generating target translation for only one file within merged sdlxliff file

I have a merged sdlxliff file containing 10 different files. I'd like to generate the target translation for only one of the files before proceeding with the translation of the merged file. Is there any way to do this? When I clic Shift + F12, Studio starts generating the target translation for all 10 files, no matter which segment of the merged file my cursor is in. Anyone knows if there's a way to choose which files you want to convert and which ones you don't?

Different ways... Aug 11, 2014

If you happen to want the target file for the first merged file it's easy. Just click shift F12 and save the first one you're offered.

If you want to save one further down the list, then you'll either have to save all the previous ones (which you can do even if you haven't translated them yet), or re-merge them in the order that you want to save them.

For more details on how to place sdlxliff files in a certain order for merging, check out the last section on QuickMerge in my blog post on new features in Studio 2014:

Was hoping for an easier way... Aug 11, 2014

Thanks very much for your answer, Emma. In fact, I was aware of the two ways you mentioned, but I was hoping there might be a more straight-forward way. If you're standing in, say, the third file in the list, and you click on Preview, you can generate a preview for just that file. I think it'd be great if we could do the same when generating target translations.
