Trying to open a standard ID CS6 file in SDL 2014. > File not supported.
The File List in SDL includes ID CS2 and 4, but can I add the file type for CS6 and if so, how?

Update:

Managed to save the file in CS6 as an idml and then open the idml in SDL 2014, but is it possible to open the original indd (created in CS6) in SDL 2014 too?

IDML CS4-CC Aug 12, 2014

Hi,

Only IDML and INX files can be translated in Studio, or most CAT tools. These are the intermediate formats that are made available from InDesign. In Studio you have CS2-CS4 as INX, and then CS4-CC (Creative Cloud) as IDML.

Regards

Paul
