studio 2011 - how to export a TMX subset of filtered search results?

this would seem a very commonly needed task, but no such option appears in the menus.

googling pulls some advanced training course ads that promise to teach how - but those are ads, no answers provided.

anyone, please?

Export Sep 9, 2014

Go to the Translation Memory view and click the "Export" icon.
This will take you to an Export Wizard, where you can filter the translation units you want to export.

For more details, check out Help (F1) "Export Translation Memory Data"

my bad - don't know how i failed to see that.
