Dear All,

I have a html file that contains meta tags. It Studio 2014 manage to detect all the parser settings available in the html except for one which is: meta name="description" content=

I changed the parser settings for meta to be always translatable but it still fail to detect the words. It just fail to appear in the Editor View.

Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Thank you for your time to read the post.

Regards,
Eccella

It was the file filter setting Nov 27, 2014

Here the short answer from the Trados Support guys:

This behavior is generated by a parser rule inside the HTML filter. Go to “File \ Options (or Project Settings if you are working in a project) \ File Types \ HTML 5 \ Parser” find the “meta” rule, click on “Edit” and then from the attributes list set the “Translate” value for the “content” attribute to “Translate” . If you now re-process the file the text should be imported for translation and the translation will be displayed in the target (see attached screenshot for further clarification).
