No MultiTerm server access in Studio 2014 (GroupShare project)

I'm working on a GroupShare project in SDL Trados Studio 2014. The project manager has asked me to use an online MultiTerm (placed on the GroupShare server), but when I try to add this termbase in Studio, the buttons "Servers" and "Log in" are grayed out (under "Termbases" > "Add"). I can only add a local MultiTerm.
Any idea why? I have no problems opening this online MultiTerm in a non-GroupShare project or in the MultiTerm 2014 Desktop application. I can easily add the GroupShare Server, log in and open the termbase.
Additional question: When I open "Project Settings" in Studio 2014 in a Groupshare project, all settings other than Translation Memory settings have disappeared. I can't change the Verification settings, which is really annoying!
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
