My client has given me a big java file containing screen messages that he is going to need constantly updating as he adds more messages.

Have opened the file and created a sdl xliff file no problem but now I have an unwieldy 60,000 word file containing a lot of other info apart from the strings I need to translate.

My question is, can I apply filters or lock certain segments to make sure I'm only translating the content that needs translating, adding and/or updating. Or is there maybe a plug-in?

The values that need translating are marked as Values in the final column (as opposed to tags).

If that is possible, can I analyse only the words that need translating so I can get a wordcount.

Many thanks
Juliet
