Hello everyone,

In the current version of Trados Studio 2014 (SP2), I cannot search for question marks using the Find dialogue box. Although Use/Regular expressions is not ticked, the following error message appears when typing "?" in the Find what field:

"The regular expression has an error and cannot be used:..."

In the previous versions of Studio 2014, this problem did not occur when a search was initiated by simply typing a question mark in the Find what field.

Any idea is welcome.

Best regards

Sandor

Yes, this is a bug.
The workaround at the moment is to tick the Regular Expression box and then use the escape symbol so that Studio will find a literal question mark:
\?

It only seems to happen when you've been using regex in your search.
Another workaround is to tick Use, select "Wildcard", untick "use", close the F&R dialog, and re-open it.
