Dear all

I am using SP 2 for the first time and I noticed that the shortcut in Editor 'Ctrl Enter' does indeed move to the next unconfirmed segment, however the segment has to be clicked upon to actually open to be able to write my translation.
As far as I can remember, this was not the case with SP1 (the segment was 'ready to go' without clicking on it first).

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi Channa,

This is Steve from SDL-

Can I confirm you are using the short cut CTRL+ENTER (and not just CTRL ENTER) as this is an invalid command.
Using the + will normally confirm the segment and move to the next one.

Kind regards

Steve

... but it usually only happens, if it happens (not consistent) with the first segment in the document. So after that one everything is back to normal.

Does this happen for you with every segment?

UPDATE:
I also just noticed that this doesn't happen if I uncheck the Grammar Checker plugin from the OpenExhange, nor does it happen if I uncheck the settings for the Grammar Checker so that it is not looking up as I translate.

Are you using the Grammar Checker?

Regards

Paul

Only with no match segments Dec 4, 2014

Thanks for your replies!

It only happens with no match segments and I do not use the grammar checker anymore, since it kept on giving me trouble when closing my pc (Word would not close, or would ask me to save changes while I did not use Word at all).

I do not, nor did use the + sign...
I always use just Ctrl Enter (3 keys seems a bit much)

New bug Dec 4, 2014

Hello,

SP2 has problems with capital letters, not properly recognized and translated with nonsense.

Example German-French, only 1 TM
DESIGNSTRATEGIE and 100% match with DESIGNSTRATEGIE too.
And the problem persists not only with one, but with all my TM's.

Geneviève

Try turning off... Dec 4, 2014

... Acronym recognition in the TM settings. My guess is that the capital letters are seen as acronyms and therefore not translated.

Paul
