Dear colleagues,

Can you please tell me if this is possible to open SDL Trados Studio 2014 files in the SDL Trados Studio 2011 and which steps should I take to do it?

No problem, the files are compatible.

The only restriction you may encounter is that if you receive a SDLXLIFF prepared in 2014 you may not be able to create the target in Studio 2011 (in case the documents contained features that have been introduced in 2014). But in such a case, you can still deliver the SDLXLIFF to your client and he can create the target document.
