after skimming this great forum for quite a while, I would like to ask for your help:
When creating a new XML filetype in Studio SP2, you have the option to adapt the namespace resolution in the filetype options:
- Use namespace when declared in document - Always use prefix even when a namespace is declared
Is somebody able to explain the differences or rather the 2 scenarios for me in plain English? Paul? I know exactly what namespaces or prefixes are and how to write XML files. So no problem here. I just cannot for the life of me see a situation when this filetype option might be needed. The online help is rather confusing.
Any points in the right directions are more than appreciated.
Thanks so much.
