Hi,

I am a new user of studio 2014 and one of my big clients sends mostly PDF manuals with graphics and photos but needs back a word file that contains only text with basic formatting (bold, italics etc) but without the design and the graphic elements. He even prefers that I'll use - as a target file - a word template that he previously formatted and sent .

How can it be done in Studio 2014?

Thanks for any advise.

Just save the PDF file as text only, ... Feb 14, 2015

... import into Studio, do the translation and then perform the basic formatting on the target file.

Hi,

Thanks, it is a good idea, and even just coy paste from PDF to word generates the same results.
It can be quite useful in some cases but,
it does not keep the basic text formatting like bold, italics, bullets, numbering and so on and this can be quite a headache (and time consuming) to go over a 100 pages document and apply the formatting separately.

Thanks anyway

If pdf files are not scanned/dead ones I would go for:

1. Solid Converter: http://cdn.soliddocuments.com/solidconverterpdf.exe

2. Infix PDF Editor: http://www.pdfeditor.biz/infix/InfixSetup.exe
