Generating an autosuggest dictionary in 2009

Until yesterday I was working with an autosuggest dictionary that was very useful. Then suddenly my 2009 version refused to start up, and I was eventually forced to uninstall it and re-install.

That worked fine, but now the autosuggest dictionary is gone and I can't generate a new one as the option under tools is permanently greyed out!

I've tried to import the bpm file I have (and sdltm files) but I just get error messages such as 'does not contain entries for the current language'. This happens no matter what language combination I set.

Is there any way round this?

Thank you.
