Not dead (just double checked).
Probably worth trying with a different browser. SDL sites are very sensitive, you know

Paul Filkin has recommended using Chrome for SDL sites in the past.

It worked just now for Emma's link.

... just going to http://www.sdl.com/openexchange/ and searching in there. In this case we have upgraded the websites today so perhaps the timing was unlucky and you hit a link at exactly the wrong time?

Same problem. I can see all the products in the exchange, and search through the exchange, but when I press the download button, I get a 404 page. Perhaps the 404 page should be updated with a note that Chrome is required, or that one should try to load the page again with Chrome.

It is highly unusual to get a 404 error if the problem is browser related. Browser incompatability usually generates other types of error message or error behaviours.

I have this problem since a longer time Jun 20, 2015

As I have stated in http://www.proz.com/post/2347354#2347354 long ago, I use Opera, and have been never able to download anything from the Open Exchange pages, despite enabled cookies, popup windows etc etc etc. (all attempts of downloading anything always result in "404 - page not found" error).

However, everything works fine in Firefox (checked once again 2 minutes ago by downloading file type definition for TMX) so the problem is definitely browser-related, however, I agree this is really, really strange.

Very strange Jun 20, 2015

I use IE11 to download the apps from OpenExchange and never had any problems whatsoever.

This is just one more confirmation that SDL pages are optimized for a few browsers only. But not all people use IE...
