I'm learning Trados.

In Studio, I'm translating a text.

I have two TermBases active - a general termbase and one specific to the author of this document.

I want to be able to highlight terms and save them - and to specify which terms should be saved to which TermBase.

Can I do that? How do I do that?

Thanks in advance!

Studio can only save a term to your default termbase, which is the one at the top of your list when you click on Project settings>Language Pairs>Termbases. Move the database you want to add the term to to the top of the list.
You can access this setting quickly by clicking the termbase icon in the term recognition window.

To save a term quickly, select the source and target terms and click Ctrl+Shift+F2.
To edit a new term in the termbase viewer before saving it, select it in source and target, and click Ctrl+F2 .
