Hello.

I always import DOC/DOCX/RTF files into Trados 2014 and the output file is therefore a DOC/DOCX/RTF file. The trouble is that I have to spend time formatting or defining the format of the translated file so that the formating looks good and standard for the customer. Most of the time I have to use a same formatting for all projects, which is generally accepted in Persian (Farsi), e.g. a Persian font/Regular/Size 11/Color: Black, etc.

Is there a way to define some formatting (font, font size/color/type, page border, etc.) inside Trados 2014 so that it is automatically applied when finalizing the project? And we don't have to change the formatting inside the Microsoft Word?

Thanks

Studio does not modify fonts and font sizes Aug 28, 2015

Studio does not support this. It is not possible to change the fonts and their sizes. As a translation tool, it focuses on the translatable text and does not touch the formatting (except inline formatting such as bold, underline, italic, subscript, etc.).

Changes to the layout need to be done in the target file after translation.
