Dear All,

I used Trados Studio 2014 to translate a Presentation from English into Arabic. Most slides include some phrases between brackets. After I got my Arabic target file, I found that the position of the brackets was wrong i.e. observing the left to right of English language. Although, I corrected the position of the brackets many times to observe the position of the Arabic, they turn automatically again when I close and re-open the Presentation.

I'm using Windows 7 and PowerPoint 10

To illustrate the problem:

For example (in Egypt) it is right.

على سبيل المثال )في مصر( صحيح

Can anyone please help me fix this problem?

Thank you so much for your anticipated help.

Best regards,
Noha Mostafa

Try to select the paragraph and align it right-to-left Sep 10, 2015

I've encountered the same problem.
I realized that MS Word (or Power Point) will set the text direction as left to right by default, even when the text was imported from SDL Trados.
Selecting the paragraph and setting it to run from right to left solved most of the problems.
