Hi guys! I wanted to know if someone knows a place where I can get free samples of sdlxliff files in English to practice the use of Trados.

For example, if you have a demo copy of Trados. Use Trados to create a new file your want to practice. Certain Trados sub-directories/folders also have sample project files you can practice e.g. EN>GE pair.

Follow these step-by-step instructions to translate your very first file with Studio (sdlxliff file creation is part of the process):

Hi Jorge,

When you install Studio there is a sample project installed that contains files for practising. If you look in the Welcome View and then select the "Getting Started" tab in the middle of the screen then you'll find some tutorials which should be helpful.

My problem is that I have sdlxliff file to translate but I think I did something wrong when opening it and now I don´t have Access to TM. Above the window where you translate and below the Project settings, the window is blank and says "No open translation memories or automated translation servers".

I would post an image but I don´t know how to do it.

Thank you very much, I have solved that problem. Now I have many other but I think that´s for another day.
