Do not commit a segment to TM - how?

A simple question. How can you decide which segments should be sent to your TM?
I mean, alt + "+" means roughly "commit the segment to the TM, confirm it and move to the next one".
What about the case if I want to confirm a segment, move to the next one, but without sending it to the TM?

Your action will not update/commit the TM if you highlight the target texts, right click and select "Change translation status" and select "Translated."
