My Windows 10 update turned out to be a disaster. I am back on Windows 7 now, but not my Trados 2015 license is now "in use" with the deleted Windows 10 installation.

With Trados 2014 there was a "Force return" feature, but I can't find this for Trados 2015. How do I solve this problem?

Go to your profile page on the internet Oct 24, 2015

You should find it there.

The force return function is missing Oct 26, 2015

There is no force return function with 2015 like 2014. If there is I can't find it. This is what my profile page looks like: http://pasteboard.co/1ETB2Wfc.jpg

The deactivate offline button is when you still have the program installed, which I don't have.

There isn't one for 2015 yet... Oct 26, 2015

Hi Rasmus,

This feature is not available with 2015 yet. The change in licensing requires additional work in our admin systems that has not been completed yet. So if you need to force return your licence you have to submit a support request. The team are pretty quick.

Go to the Knowledgebase;

http://kb.sdl.com

Then go to the tab called Solution Finder ( http://kb.sdl.com/?cid=23&tab=sf ) and now go here;

Licensing Problems
- I use SDL Trados Studio 2015 / SDL Passolo 2015
-- I need to have my license reset

Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form, and make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

I hope this helps.

Regards

Paul
