Studio 2014 - Opening multiple files error

Hello,
for the past few weeks, I am getting an error message when I try to open multiple files in Studio Freelance 2014.
La référence d'objet n'est pas définie à une instance d'un objet (whatever that means...)
System.nullReferenceException mscorlib
-2147467261
I suspect this is due to packages created with Studio 2015, but that is only a guess.
Any ideas?
