Client requests Trados Studio bilingual return file, which is then proofreaded and returned back to translator. Is there a way to find all changes made by proofreader without going line by line and looking at local TM lookup results? File is 30K words in size and its a tedious task to do. (Trados Studio 2014)

What I would do is to open the original and the update files in Trados, then do a "bilingual review" export on both, and then compare the target columns from the two exported documents. You can do that by copying them to two Word files (convert the table to text) and then use MS Word's document comparison feature. Or you can do that by copying both columns into column A and B in an Excel file and then use the formula =if(A1=B1,"same","different") to find updated segments.

If the proofreader had used tracked changes, then you could get to those segments more easily, by going to the "Review" tab and selecting the filter to "With changes".

You can use SDLXLIFFcompare from the Open Exchange to see the changes unless the proofreader uses track changes. This way you'll be able to see them straight away

Here it is: http://www.translationzone.com/openexchange/app/sdlxliffcompare-114.html

However, it seems to operate only with Studio 2009 and 2011.
