I'm using Studio 2014 and I just activated the underlining of keyboard shortcuts in Windows 8.1 (e.g. Add).

When I want to add an unknown word to the custom dictionary, I press Alt+A. Now some letters pop up in the ribbon. Can this be deactivated?

Unfortunately no because it uses same standard as MS Office Nov 20, 2015

The keyboard combinations with ALT and a letter or a number are used as shortcuts to ribbon sections and commands. This is standard in all Office applications and the same behaviour has been chosen for Studio.
