I have some problems when I have to upgrade from TMX to SDLTM (2015). When I open the new converted memory, it doesn't show me any text, it just appears symbols. It seems it doesn't identify the text. What can I do?

Was the TM converted from TXT into TMX?
Through Wordfast Classic, try to check if there are any TUs showing as follows.
Open the TMX in Wordfast Classic. See under TM if the TMX shows how many TUs there are. If it shows empty there too, then it was not properly converted into TMX.
Hopefully this helps you on the road.

A couple of questions

How did you convert the TMX to a Studio TM?
How/where did you open the new TM, which just shows symbols?

The TMX file was done by someone else so I don't know the origin of that file.
I opened the TMX file with SDL trados 2015 as ¨*.tmx file¨ and automatically opens a pop-up window to upgrade the translation memory. The process is completed without any errors but when I try to open the file converted into sdltm, just these symbols appear: ȳ ' – ―⃞ '' '- It's weird.
Maybe as you said it was not properly converted into TMX.
Thank you for your answers!
