I searched the Proz forum and Trados 2015 Help files without hits. I apologize if I missed certain searches.

Trados 2015 Help: Options > File type > Tab Delimited File > Format

I recently use tab delimited text file translation in Trados Studio frequently to improve my productivity. The issue I cannot manage is creating translation bilingual files with tab delimited text file where the target texts contain " (quotation marks, open or close mark). The bilingual file shows target texts completely if no " is contained even in one instance. The target texts are partially lost or lost until many paragraphs if " is in either paragraph.
Now I manually mend the TU but I prefer better suggestions.

Example:
Source:
I love "you."
Target:
Je "t'aime"

Bilingual file
Source:
Source:
I love "you."
Target:
Je

I know that in programming language, we add double quotation mark to retain the text strings e.g.
Example:
Source:
I love "you."
Target:
Je ""t'aime""

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I can.
Many thanks. I never tried with this format before.
It is very quite helpful!!

In standard Excel file (as I have known before), it is in *.xlsx format. I cannot separate the source texts out of target texts.

In Comma Delimited Text File (CSV) format, it does not support non-European fonts. For example, Japanese or Thai fonts are always corrupted in my saving as CSV file format. 2-column source-target delimited texts cannot be converted to TMX format.

Other than the Excel bilinguaul file format, I will try with another method since I know that TMX format is in Unicode fonts.

Google Docs supports non-European fonts Dec 21, 2015

I often import .xls, .txt into Google Docs then Save it as CSV and it works.

Excel CVS file format for me even in Google Docs fails to maintain non-European Unicode fonts e.g. for Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian.
Regarding the issue in this topic, I confirm that the recommendation of Paul work well. I read further advice on setting of Bilingual Excel file in Trados 2015 and followed it strictly, though.
