Hi,
I use SDL Trados Studio 2011. Unfortunately, it does not accept Power Point presentation files. Can I do something to make it work?

Try to save the Power Point file in another format or lover version format e.g. slide/presentation/template. I used to be successfully handle such the problem.

… and Studio 2011 is indeed compatible with PPT and PPTX files.

If you have a PPS file just rename it as PPT (or PPSX as PPTX) and this extension should be fine for Studio.

Does this help?

Conversion helps Jan 12, 2016

Yes, converting to another PowerPoint format helps. It seems, the problem was in formats, rather than in SDL itself.
Unfortunately, a couple times I encountered formats that I could not change, and they were not accepted by SDL.
Thanks anyways. I hope to be able to cope with this problem in the future.
